Hi all im new to the forum, very educational i must admit and based on the threads here are many useful tips and good advice thank you all ive learned alot thus far.

on the side line ive stumbled across a video that demonstrates effects of different transformer insulation tape used when building SMPS ETD style cores.

why is the first guy "an idiot" hes just doing demonstration the carious effects heat/flame has using the wrong tape.. elaboration would be useful so other people can learn.
