I have a circuit diagram images of a few class D mono amplifiers.I want to build it into a schematics file in some simulation software. Can Someone suggest me a particular software that can simulate Class D amplifiers.
Basic features of the amp would be :
Power Input 12-15v DC
Audio signal input 200mv-10v
Output 1000 - 2000rms
High-pass filter
Low-pass filter
Speaker Load 4/2/1/.5 Ohms
Protection Circuit - Thermal/Over-current/Under-current/Short-circuit.
Its a Mono Class D amplifier.
Basically I want to simulate the different effects of the input voltage on the amplifiers output...and the effect of different Ohm Speaker Load on the amplifier, for instance what wattage RMS the amplifier will provide at 4/2/1/.5 Ohm load if the voltage is 12/13/14/15 v DC.And thus current consumed by the amplifier at these different stages.
I think it is called Clamp testing of a amplifier. -)
Thus help me decide a more Efficient Design.
