ir2153 thyristor protection

Hi guys. Sorry for my eng.

I want to design my first ir2153 power supply with protection. I found this circuit and made a few changes. I replaced transistor with one thyristor and use a 3 (Ct) pin for shutdown. So i have a question about my redesigned circuit. Will the protection work fine in my circuit? Can a thyristor be used?

PS: Please suggest good protection circuits for ir2153.

I tested this protection on the breadboard. Vcc = 15v. All worked good. But i dont know how it will work from 230 volts with IRF740.
MicrosiM, can you help me?
