Inductor build help needed

I need to build a 22uH inductor for a SMPS. I have a PQ2625 bobbin and N87 Core. I am using 12/29AWG Litz wire. Can someone help me with the turns and gap? I would appreciate any help.

Best option is to use inductance meter, then you will get the exact number of turns in no time.

Its difficult for me to guess the number of turns with that core, that needs some calculations.

IIRC,

Inductance is effective permeability of core times permeability of free space times effective core cross sectional area times the square of the number of turns divided by the effective core length.

L=mu_0*mu_r*Ae*N^2/le

Adding a gap reduces the effective permeability of the core by adding a large series reluctance. Don't remember the formulae for calculating gap length.
