Being a simple SMPS, not resonant ZVS or ZCS, is normal to run a little hotter.
Even in IDLE, trafo gets up above 40 degrees, also IGBT heats a little, because of switching loses.
And yes HGTG30N60A4D, is better than IRG4PC50U because of IC max and freq that they can switch.
If you find, try to use IRG4PC50W, with MUR460 diode between E and C, respecting polarity.
