Hi,
I've been able to get a free sample for coilcraft boost inductor. It's the hardest part to find if not able to build one. It's used in ncp1654 eval board shematic. But onsemi gives excel worksheet to tweak oparating values, and gives so component values. But the inductor is only for 300w...so it's not a lot for a pfc use...
It's a continuous mode boost chip. I plan to diy the eval board. It gives some interesting protection feature, and have somewhat low part count.
It seemed me more doable then other pfc chip...
Not sure having good understanding what you're planning...
