Transformer connection for a smps welder 150 amp.

Hi All

I go made a welder smps for the mag wire welder who has to be a constant voltage type, maybe a double one
who als can do constant current for tig. I have still try to get more info about what to do to get constant voltage
for example a feedback through the wire itselfs, I did see some welders did that, give also a very nice weld
because movement of hand will be much less of impact on welding...

I do break my head about how to implement the transformer driver, here I think connect the transformer between
the mosfets it will get also DC with the danger that it do saturate what will blow the smps, I see that much
smps welders had a bunch of caps between the transformer and igbt,s forward or full bridge, I think that this is
a more save way to make such a welder more solid, the caps are for example 5 x 1 uf 600 volts.

So now my question, are you guys agree with this? the caps will not be elco,s because these do not well there
like the old spms supply van macpro did loosing capacity adn stopped working, but save just replace did make it
wake up again.

thanks
