Guys
Is "IRGP4066" ok to get at least 1200w in the output without any problem?
if you have 2x500W amplifier, then a 600W SMPS will do the Job.
1200W SMPS will run 1800W amplifier

Yes, it is analog, G20N50 have less input and output capacitor - faster. Half bridge above 1kW not very good, make a bridgeView attachment 5405

Hi all..
Smps is stable with 1200W load.. for 45 minutes tested..
- Mos 52°C without fan
- Tranformer 55°C without fan
- Out diodes 61°C with fan (but small heatsink..)
On 1200w load i have 20V drop.. is due to transformer, now is winded with 5 x 0.4 wires.
I hope it was Tc. Badboy, what IGBT's did you end up with? And at what frequency does your SMPS operate?

F? U2? I2? core?Any idea about the transformer heat??

All right, U1 - 161B (324/2). U2 - 160V (80+80) +lose, + EfficiencyIs primary wire thicker than secondary?
